WHO I AM?

WHO I AM?

Hi, I’m Akshaya, a product designer with a quiet energy and a curious mind.

I love creating things that blend technology and creativity; from thoughtful interfaces to tiny doodles.

Creative at Heart

- Trained Bharatanatyam dancer for 10+ years

- I draw, read, watch anime & dance when I’m not designing

- Always daydreaming ideas , even while people-watching at cafés

How I Work

- I ask a lot of questions. I listen. I collaborate.

-I enjoy early research and ideation, especially when it’s about real people and their needs.

-What I care about most: clarity, empathy, and impact.

People Say

"She brought structure and polish to our product. Her UI work and the design system made it easier for us to build consistently and focus on solving the right problems."

Sam Clastine

"She made a huge impact in a short time. Her design thinking helped us bring our ideas to life clearly and quickly. She's a team player who gets the bigger picture."

Jibril Ali, Co-Founder & CEO, Kirfu

Motivation

I design because I’m curious about people ; how they think, what they feel, and the little things that make their lives easier (or harder).

What excites me most is turning messy, complex problems into calm, clear experiences , ones that feel like they were always meant to be that way.

Whether it's a tiny microinteraction or a whole product flow, I love crafting details that quietly support people and maybe even make them smile.

How I Design

How I Design

I design by balancing research, clarity, and iteration - turning complex problems into calm, usable experiences.

While my work often follows a clear structure, design is never truly linear.

Insights from research reshape ideas, testing uncovers new problems, and iteration happens at every stage.

I treat design as a continuous loop - listening, testing, refining until the experience feels intuitive for real people.

Research

I start by understanding people - through interviews, usability testing, and behavioural insights.

Ideation

I explore multiple directions, map journeys, and shape concepts that respond to real needs.

Systems & Structure

I design scalable systems that stay consistent across screens, teams, and use cases.

Test & Refine

I validate decisions through testing, feedback, and iteration , clarity over assumptions.
